This praise was extended during his meeting with Vanhxay Phongsavanh, a senior official from Laos, held in Hanoi. The meeting underscored the importance of enhancing these cooperative efforts as both nations aim to achieve their new development objectives.
During the discussions, Prime Minister Hưng stressed the necessity of improving national governance and strengthening discipline to enhance transparency. He highlighted the fight against corruption and waste as critical components of their shared agenda. The need for greater exchange of experiences, personnel training, and joint efforts in addressing complaints was also emphasized, as well as improving institutional frameworks and strengthening systems for inspection and supervision.
The two countries agreed on the importance of coordinating efforts to detect and manage cases that have cross-border implications. This includes expanding the use of information technology and digital transformation within their inspection and auditing processes. By doing so, they aim to bolster their ability to effectively combat corruption and other negative practices.
