Vietnam and Russia are set to deepen their collaborative efforts in human resource training, scientific research, and technology. This development comes following discussions held between Nguyen Thanh Nghi, Chairman of the Commission for Policy and Strategy of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee, and a Russian delegation in Hanoi on October 7.

The talks focused on leveraging Russia’s expertise in high technology to align with Vietnam’s developmental goals. Both countries are exploring the potential for joint research and training programs, emphasizing the importance of human resource development for sustainable cooperation. This includes fostering stronger links between educational and training institutions in both nations, as well as facilitating increased exchanges between experts, engineer training, and joint research initiatives.

In addition to human resource development, the discussions also highlighted science and technology, innovation, energy, and oil and gas as areas ripe for expanded cooperation. The meeting underscored the commitment of both Vietnam and Russia to enhance their exchanges and establish more substantive partnerships in education, technology, and strategic research.

This initiative reflects a broader effort by both nations to fortify their bilateral relations, with a focus on combining each country’s strengths to address mutual needs and opportunities in various sectors.
