Air Regiment 930 Prepares Emergency Rescue Flights for Flooded Central Provinces

by admin477351

Air Regiment 930 of Division 372 has placed two helicopters on standby, along with essential relief supplies, to support rescue operations in the south central provinces heavily impacted by ongoing flooding. Prolonged rainfall has caused rising water levels, cutting off many residential areas and putting lives and property at risk.
Following instructions from the Air Defence and Air Force Command, Division 372 prepared to deploy emergency flights to assist residents affected by severe flooding in Gia Lai and Đắk Lắk. The situation remains critical as heavy rain continues across both provinces.
To aid isolated communities, the division has readied two helicopters—a Mi-171 and a Mi-8—equipped with approximately two tonnes of essential supplies including food, drinking water, dry rations, milk, biscuits, bottled water, and life jackets.
Upon receiving the mission, Regiment 930 quickly assembled aircraft and rescue crews to ensure they can take off immediately and deliver relief to flood-stricken regions across the central area.
